Agrarians of the East Kazakhstan region sowed 82% of the planned areas as of May 25

In the East Kazakhstan region, as of May 25, almost 900 thousand hectares of the area out of about 1102 thousand hectares planned for the current year were sown with agricultural crops. Most of the area is already occupied by grain and leguminous crops, reports the Grain On-Line agency. According to operational reports, among spring crops in terms of sowing volume, grain mixture and millet are in the lead: the task has been completed by more than 90%. Then comes barley - almost 90%, wheat - 88%, legumes (beans, chickpeas, slides, lentils) - 87%, oats - about 80%. In addition, the farms began sowing such a late crop as buckwheat.
