Farmers in Russia's Trans-Baikal Territory have successfully harvested over 1.1 million tons of hay, surpassing their target of 950 thousand tons, despite summer floods. This surplus will support the well-being of the region's livestock, which includes 473 thousand heads of cattle, 419 thousand sheep and goats, and 107 thousand horses. The regional Ministry of Agriculture has established an operational headquarters to ensure the functioning of livestock farms and the safe wintering of the animals. So far, no feed-related issues have been reported.
