The National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (Senasa) and the Argentine Citrus Federation (Federcitrus) have renewed their agreement to ensure phytosanitary traceability in the certification of citrus fruits exported to the European Union and similar markets. This agreement ensures that fresh citrus fruit production meets international phytosanitary requirements. In 2023, Senasa certified the export of over 282,000 tons of fresh citrus fruit to various countries, including the United States, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands, Paraguay, Italy, and Greece.
