The Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) accepted the appeal filed by the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA) and will resume the investigation into dumping practices against powdered milk from Mercosur. The decision was announced in a meeting with representatives of the production sector, dairy sector parliamentarians, and the vice president and minister, Geraldo Alckmin, on Tuesday afternoon at the ministry's headquarters. In practice, the government has changed its understanding and now considers raw milk to be similar to imported powdered milk.
