Brazilian agribusiness exports reached a 10-year high of US $100.8 billion in 2020, marking a 4.1% increase from the previous year. The surplus in the agribusiness trade balance was a record of US $87.8 billion. Soybeans were the main product on the Brazilian agribusiness export basket in 2020, followed by fresh beef, raw cane sugar, cellulose, and soybean meal. China was the main destination for Brazilian agribusiness products, accounting for 33.7% of total foreign sales last year. Dairy products showed an increase of 32.8% compared to the previous year, with the main products exported being cheeses, condensed milk, sour cream, modified milk, and milk powder.
