This positive performance (+36%) came after recording a -26% decline between January and April 2024 compared to 2023 (January-April), due to several factors, including lower blueberry shipments. The growth between January and April of this year was mainly driven by the dynamism of the agricultural sector (traditional and non-traditional), which represented 98.6% (US$ 234,333,000) of the region's shipments to the world.
