In the first quarter of 2024, Peru's agricultural exports saw a 10.8% increase from the previous year, reaching $2,481 million, with blueberries, cocoa, and lemon derivatives being the main contributors. The agro-exporting regions were Ica, La Libertad, and Piura. In 2023, Peru's agricultural exports amounted to $10,484 million, growing by 4.4% and representing 16% of total exports. The country was the ninth largest fruit exporter in the world and the third largest in Latin America. There were 2,743 Peruvian agricultural goods exporters in 2023, offering 655 products to 141 markets, with most of these companies being micro, small, or medium-sized.
