The agricultural machinery consortium has been standing out as one of the main investment alternatives in the countryside in 2025. According to a survey by the Brazilian Association of Consortium Administrators (ABAC), the sector registered a 47% increase in credits granted between January and September this year, reaching R$ 9.13 billion, the best result in the historical series. With high interest rates and more restricted rural credit, rural producers have increasingly been resorting to the consortium as a form of self-financing for the acquisition of tractors, harvesters, and agricultural implements. The model offers long terms and the absence of interest, factors that make the modality more accessible compared to traditional financing. Even with a 16.8% drop in new memberships, the total volume of business advanced by 15.2%, reaching R$ 19.7 billion.
