Coffee and pepper prices in Vietnam are increasing, with coffee ranging from 40,900 - 41,500 VND/kg and pepper from 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg. However, global coffee exports have decreased by 0.4% from the previous year, despite a 2.6% increase in robusta exports. Vietnam and India have seen growth in green coffee exports, while Burundi and Uganda have seen declines. The Chinese government's COVID-19 policies and high inflation in key markets are causing difficulties for the coffee industry. Pepper imports in the US have decreased for the fifth consecutive month, but the value has increased by 28%. Vietnam remains the largest pepper supplier to the US market, with a 73% market share.
