Meanwhile, pepper prices are expected to remain around 62,000 - 67,000 VND/kg in the first half of 2023, with an anticipated increase to 75,000 - 80,000 VND/kg in the later half of the year. Additionally, a report from the Food Foundation warns of potential risks to the production of daily necessities like coffee, bananas, and cocoa due to climate change, emphasizing the importance of transitioning to sustainable production methods.
