The article reports on the fluctuating local and global prices for agricultural products, with a focus on coffee and pepper in Vietnam, as of June 1, 2021. In Vietnam, coffee prices are experiencing slight variations, ranging from 33,300 VND/kg to 34,600 VND/kg across different provinces, amidst a backdrop of rising global prices for both Robusta and Arabica coffee. On the other hand, pepper prices have seen a significant drop in Vietnam, with rates falling between 67,000 VND/kg and 71,000 VND/kg in various provinces. This occurs against a backdrop of declining global pepper supplies, due to reduced planting areas, adverse weather, and poor preservation, leading to a global consumption forecast of 555,000 tons in 2021, a decrease from 2020. Vietnam's pepper exports in April 2021 saw an increase in value but a decrease in volume compared to April 2020, with mixed trends in export destinations.
