"Unfortunately... we have come across another trace of someone's thoughtlessness - waste abandoned in the forest. This time it was packaging from plant protection products, liquid fertilizers, oils, and hydraulic fluids used in agriculture," reports the Gniewkowo Forestry District (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship) on its Facebook profile. As they add, large bags were thrown directly between trees and shrubs, and individual bottles were simply scattered around the area. "This is not just a mess. Various substances from the containers can seep into the soil, water, and poison plants and animals. The most upsetting thing is that this waste can be given away for free at points of sale.
