The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) of Spain has reported a decrease in the production of shell almonds and olive oil by 25.8% and 4.8% respectively, compared to 2020. The grape production for winemaking has also seen a decrease of 13.5%. However, there is an increase in the production of apples by 16.5%, winter sugar beet by 11.8%, squash by 2.2%, and mid-season and late-season potatoes by 2.7%. The production of corn, rice, and sorghum has decreased by 1.2%, 15.9%, and 29.8% respectively.
