Agriculture generates around 4.3 million jobs in Peru

Agriculture in Peru generates around 4.3 million jobs and represents 24% of the Economically Active Population (EAP), however, only close to 300,000 of these workers are part of the formal private sector, which highlights the informality in the sector.
