Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, has released 392,241 shrimp and crab into the sea to help restore aquatic life. This initiative is part of efforts to sustainably develop agriculture and the seafood industry, which is expected to generate VND 2,500 billion in 2022. The province's rivers and water surfaces cover nearly 70,000 hectares, supporting around 300 fish species, including some endangered ones. The release of these fish aims to combat the effects of overfishing and the use of harmful fishing gear.
