The Egyptian Honey Festival is set to take place from 24-28 November at the Orman Botanical Garden in Giza, according to the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation. The festival aims to provide marketing and export opportunities for producers, foster cooperation among producers, and encourage beekeeping culture. The Minister also highlighted Egypt's leading role in the global export of live honey bee parcels and its position as the second highest producer of bee honey in the Arab world and fifth in Africa. The festival is expected to facilitate cooperation with various food industry and export council representatives to develop the industry and local production.
