Ministry of Agriculture in Egypt: The 100 million trees initiative contributes to the promotion of olive crops

Dr. Saad Moussa, Supervisor of the Foreign Agricultural Relations Sector at the Ministry of Agriculture, said in statements today on the sidelines of the inauguration of a qualitative council for olives, that there will be cooperation between the General Union of Producers of Horticultural Crops and fortunately there are many lands in Egypt suitable for olive cultivation, especially in Sinai, in addition to the need to provide awareness campaigns on the health importance of olive oil, and this requires support from all concerned ministries. Moussa suggested cooperation with the International Olive Council and the Egyptian Olive Council, noting that the 100 million tree project within the presidential initiative will contribute to the advancement of this crop, and this requires holding training courses and awareness campaigns.
