Agro-exports accounted for 87% of the total exports to Saudi Arabia.

(Agraria.pe) Between January and August of 2025, Peruvian exports to Saudi Arabia totaled US$ 8.6 million, reflecting a growth of 16.6% compared to the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the Foreign Trade Society of Peru (Comex Perú), which highlighted that in the first eight months of the current year, agro-exports led shipments to the Arab market, with a participation of 87% of the total exported (US$ 7.5 million). Fresh blueberries positioned themselves as the main exported product in the analyzed period of this year, with US$ 4.2 million and a growth of +172%, due to the exported volume (+205%). Similarly, shipments of fresh pomegranates reflected a good performance, with growth in value (+202%) and in volume (+229%). Comex Perú highlighted the potential that Peruvian fruits have in that market.
