Exports of vegetables from Poblano agroindustrial companies, including tomatoes, broccoli, and coriander, have resumed to the United States, following the reopening of economic activities after a pause due to the coronavirus pandemic. Puebla is a major supplier of these vegetables to North America. While exports have resumed, they are not at previous levels due to safety measures. However, high demand and quality offer expectations for continued main exporter status. The United States is the main buyer, but exports also go to Canada, Russia, and other countries. The value of vegetable, plant, roots, and tuber exports in 2019 was $235.87 million.
