In Vinnytsia, the Agrofirm "Olgopil" has started implementing a new direction—establishing a vineyard plot. As reported on the farm's website, the first stage involved creating windbreaks from hazelnut and almond trees, which are intended to provide an optimal microclimate for future plantings. Currently, hazelnuts of the varieties Acorn, Webb, and Pansky (a total of 47 saplings) have already been planted. Additionally, a strip of almond trees (61 saplings) has been formed, featuring varieties Penta, Daimar, Delon, Laurent, and others. This configuration allows for minimizing the impact of cold winds while ensuring sufficient insolation and thermal balance. The pilot plot occupies an area of about 50 acres.
