Alanya farmers in Turkey started exporting mangoes

In the Turkish province of Alanya, farmers have established mango production. This region is considered the main one in the production of tropical fruits in the country; 38 types of tropical fruits are grown here. However, mango production is far superior in volume to other types of similar products. This was told by Mehmet Ryuzgar, head of the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry of Alanya. Preparatory work for mango cultivation in the province began in 2014 on a land area of 7.4 hectares. Now the annual production capacity is 65,000 tons.
