The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has issued a warning this Thursday about the presence of listeria monocytogenes in ripened mixed cheese made with raw sheep and cow milk from the brands Beiardi, Agort, Udabe, and Eroski, distributed in at least four regions. According to available information, the initial distribution has been to the Basque Country, Navarra, Castilla-La Mancha, and Aragón, although redistributions to other communities cannot be ruled out, as AESAN specified in a statement. For the Beiardi brand, the affected lots of ripened mixed cheese made with raw milk are 2528430, with an expiration date of September 29, 2026; 2528410, with expiration dates between September 9 and September 22, 2026; and 2528410, with an expiration date of September 16, 2026.
