Farmers in Leýn province are making good progress with the harvest of alfalfa and fodder, despite the impact of low temperatures and the dry season on alfalfa production. The province has significant land dedicated to these crops, including 5,000 ha of rainfed alfalfa and 6,500 ha of irrigated alfalfa, as well as 9,000 ha of dry fodder vetch and 1,000 ha of irrigated vetch. Despite the challenges, yields are expected to be good, albeit lower than the previous season. Meanwhile, cereal prices have remained stable after international market fluctuations, with concerns about production potential due to abundant rainfall in key wheat-producing areas.
