The international tomato supply in the European market is low, causing high prices as production in the Netherlands, Turkey, and Morocco is decreased. As March progresses, prices for other vegetables such as zucchini, aubergine, and cucumber will decrease due to increased Dutch production in April. However, pepper prices remain high, with green and red California peppers reaching record prices. Bean prices also remain high, with the red perona having the highest average cut at nine euros and fifty cents per kilo.
