The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Spain published the Esyrce 2020 report, indicating a slight change in Spain's agricultural landscape in 2020. The report highlights a slight increase in the area of woody crops, other croplands, meadows, pastures, and a decrease in herbaceous crops. Arable land remained stable, with a slight decrease due to a drop in herbaceous crops and an increase in fallow land. There was a notable decrease in the cultivated area of legumes and cereals, while rapeseed and vetch saw an increase. The surface area of vegetables and flowers decreased due to melon, cabbage, broccoli, and tomato. Irrigated fallow land increased, encompassing all uncultivated farmland at the time of the visit.
