Villagers in Yanhe City, Guizhou Province, China have been actively harvesting morels, a type of mushroom, in an orderly fashion and have also started selling them. Tian Hui, a farmer in Fengchang Community, has seen significant growth in his morel crop after leasing 100 greenhouses. Morels are valued for their short planting cycle and high profit potential, with fresh morels selling for 80 yuan/catties and dried morels fetching up to 700 yuan/catties. Long Zhiyong, a farmer in Huanglong Village, anticipates producing 400 kilograms of morels per mu, which will be primarily sold in cities like Chongqing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
