Russia: Altai Territory may become the largest Siberian grain supplier to China

The Altai Territory, one of the leading agricultural regions of the country, can become the largest Siberian supplier of grain to the PRC. On October 17, Russia and China signed the largest contract for the supply of grains worth about $25.7 billion. The agreement provides for the supply of 70 million tons of grains, legumes, and oilseeds for 12 years. "Shipments to China from the Altai Territory are steadily increasing their pace.
