Vietnam: Nghi Xuan was zoned out to control an outbreak of African swine fever

Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh) has just announced African swine fever in Xuan Hai commune, and at the same time zoning areas with high risk of outbreak in some neighboring areas. On December 20, receiving news from Mr. Duong Van Long's family (Dong Bien village, Xuan Hai commune) that 10 pigs showed fever, of which 1 died, the Center for Science and Technology Application and Tree Protection Planted animals and livestock in Nghi Xuan district have been sampled and sent for testing at the Sub-Department of Animal Health Region 3 (Vinh City, Nghe An). The results showed that the samples were all positive for African swine fever (DTLCP).
