The barley harvest in the world may be reduced this year to 138 million or 700 thousand tons. The Profibeer portal writes about this, citing data from the analytical agency RMI Analytics. The greatest losses, according to them, expect Canada - a million tons. Experts cited severe drought in the prairies where the main crops are located as the reason. Another 100 thousand less will be the estimate due to three European countries - the UK, Denmark and Sweden.
