Anchovy season closes early in Turkey

As we approach April 15, when the hunting ban in the seas will begin, the decline in anchovy catch continues. Anchovies, which are preparing to end the season early, are decreasing day by day on the stalls and are being replaced by other fish. Anchovies, whose price per kilogram dropped to 20 lira in the past months when the catch was plentiful, find buyers at 100 TL per kilo in the stalls where there are 1-2 cases.
