The Certified Angus Program carried out, for the first time, slaughters in Bahia and, with that, achieved certification of premium carcasses in the five regions of Brazil. After years of fostering Angus herds in the Northeast, the slaughter was done in Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA) for the partner VPJ Alimentos. The goal is to reach 200 heads/month and complement the production of Certified Angus Beef portioned at the group's unit in Pirassununga (SP).
