The Argentine Angus Association was once again present at the Anuga food fair, which this time was held in Cologne, Germany. At their stand, they were able to receive importers interested in learning about the certification of meat from animals of that breed, which is their main focus.
Currently, "we have 25 slaughterhouses authorized to certify our attribute and seven slaughter users. These are exporters who do not have their own plant and who carry out the process in one of the slaughterhouses authorized to certify," explained to the Bichos de Campo correspondent Gastón Alberio, the quality manager of the Meats area at the Angus Association.
At Anuga, Alberio accompanied Angus Vice President Amadeo Derito, and together they received European and Asian importers.
