China: Anhui Province's newly developed Huixian chicken matching system has passed national approval

Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued Announcement No. 846, and the newly cultivated Huixian chicken matching system in our province has been approved by the National Animal Genetic Resources Committee. The Huixian chicken matching system is a broiler breed cultivated by Anhui Huadongshan Zhongxian Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. and Anhui Agricultural University for more than 10 years through three-line hybridization based on the consumption demand for high-quality yellow-feathered broiler roosters, young hens and old hens in the Yangtze River Delta region. It uses the three yellow chickens in southern Anhui, Wenchang chickens in Hainan, and Rugao chickens in Jiangsu as breeding materials. It has the characteristics of high survival rate, high content of flavor substances, and slender tibia.
