According to a survey of 31 provinces (regions, municipalities) across the country, the national grain sowing area, yield per unit area, and total production for 2025 are as follows: 1. The national grain sowing area is 119,409 thousand hectares (1,791,130 million mu), an increase of 90 thousand hectares (135 million mu) compared to 2024, with a growth of 0.1%. Among these, the sowing area for grains is 100,619 thousand hectares (1,509,280 million mu), an increase of 161 thousand hectares (241 million mu) compared to 2024, with a growth of 0.2%. 2. The national grain yield per unit area is 5,987 kilograms per hectare (399 kilograms per mu), an increase of 65.7 kilograms per hectare (4.4 kilograms per mu) compared to 2024, with a growth of 1.1%.
