In 2021, 113 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in pigs have been confirmed, with the latest outbreak reported in a farm in Czarzyzna, Łubnice commune, Staszów poviat, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland. The Veterinary Inspection is implementing measures to eradicate the disease, including killing and disposing of pigs, cleaning and disinfection, and designating infected and endangered areas.
