Agricultural engineer Ignacio Antequera will replace José María Pozancos as director general of the Spanish Federation of Fruit, Vegetable, Flower, and Live Plant Exporter Producers Associations (Fepex), starting July 1, after 33 years in the position. In a statement issued this Tuesday, the federation specified that Pozancos, who entered the management in 1992, will continue to be linked to the federation in an advisory capacity. His replacement, Antequera, is an agricultural engineer with over 25 years of experience managing relationships between agents in the distribution chain of fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, livestock, and aquaculture, the federation detailed.
