Apla and ApexBrasil take 23 Brazilian companies to Guatemala

Apla (Local Alcohol Production Arrangement) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency), through the Brazil Sugarcane Bioenergy Solution Project, will carry out a technical and commercial mission in Guatemala from December 11th to 15th. The international action with 23 Brazilian companies includes a broad program with technical visits and commercial meetings at mills and the country's main sugar groups. Suppliers from Brazil will offer their products, machines, equipment, services and solutions for the production of sugar, ethanol, bioenergy and all bioproducts derived from sugar cane. An important buyer of Brazilian technology aimed at the sugar-energy sector, Guatemala is the sixth largest sugar exporter in the world, according to the International Sugar Organization.
