The Regional Government of Apurímac, through the Subregional Agrarian Directorate of Andahuaylas and Chincheros, advanced with the installation of the quinoa seed nucleus of the INIA 441 variety “Señor de Huerto” in the district of Huancarama, as part of the 2025-2026 agricultural campaign. The activity is framed within the project “Installation and Improvement of the Support Service for the Organic Quinoa Productive Chain”, which is executed under the leadership of Ing. Lucio Suri Solano, with the objective of strengthening the production of organic quinoa in the region. It should be noted that, prior to sowing, the preparation of the land and the application of technical fertilization were carried out, in accordance with the soil analysis performed.
