The Argentine blueberry industry is capitalizing on the post-pandemic global shift in health policies to expand its reach, particularly in Saudi Arabia. The Argentine Blueberry Committee (ABC) has successfully engaged Saudi Arabia's leading supermarkets to establish Argentina as a reliable supplier of high-quality blueberries, aligning with the country's food security goals in the post-pandemic era. The 2021 season expects to yield around 16 million kilos of fresh blueberries, half of which is set for export, with Saudi Arabia being a priority market. This comes as Argentina implements measures to boost the competitiveness of its blueberry producers.
