Argentina opens its doors to the Peruvian granadilla

This important market opening took place after the Argentine health authority approved the non-regulation of fruit flies in the product for this destination. However, SENASA will be responsible for ensuring, through phytosanitary certification, that the requirements established by both countries are met. “Access to this market mainly favors family farming producers, located in the country's mountains and jungle fringe, articulating the agro-export chain, in this case, in the export of granadilla; which is one of the main objectives of the second agrarian reform carried out by the agricultural sector,” added Miguel Quevedo Valle, head of SENASA.
