Argentina records increase in dairy production in 2025

Milk production in Argentina experienced a notable increase of 10.9% during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to the latest report from the National Dairy Directorate. Data for March show even more significant growth, reaching 15.9% year-over-year, consolidating a positive trend that has continued since 2024. This favorable performance is explained by several factors. On the one hand, weather conditions have been optimal for cattle feeding, with rainfall well distributed across the main dairy basins. On the other hand, the producer price has maintained its profitability for the thirteenth consecutive month, registering a positive margin of 3.8% in February.
