In September 2021, Armenia imported 33,707 tons of wheat and meslin, a decrease from 35,588 tons in the same period last year. The total import for January-September 2021 was 177,169 tons, also a decrease from the previous year. Wheat and meslin exports in September 2021 were 97 tons, compared to 19 tons in 2020. The total export for January-September 2021 was 207 tons, a significant decrease from the previous year. Additionally, in September 2021, Armenia imported 4,934 tons of barley, an increase from 1,583 tons in the same period last year. However, barley exports in September 2021 were 0 tonnes, the same as in 2020. The total import for January-September 2021 was 26,578 tons, an increase from the previous year, while the total export was 0 tonnes, the same as in 2020.
