(By Conab) The Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab), through the Regional Superintendence of Goiás (Sureg/GO), delivered, on the 22nd and 23rd of April, two deliveries of mini harvesters in Goiás, in the municipalities of Vianópolis and Ceres, as part of the Rice from Our People Program, aimed at encouraging rice production by family agriculture to diversify cultivation and strengthen food and nutritional security with fair prices. On Tuesday (22), the Santa Rita Community, in Vianópolis, received a mini harvester that will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the harvesting process, directly benefiting the farming families served by the program. The action was attended by the regional superintendent of Conab in Goiás, Luiz Carlos do Nascimento, the technical assistants of the program in the Territories, as well as the focal point of the Rice from Our People Program in Goiás, Assis Xavier, and the technical assistant of the Vale do São Patrício territory, Marcos Antônio.
