As of September 24, 2024, Kazakhstan has successfully harvested over 39 million tons of feed, surpassing its annual plans for hay, haylage, concentrated feed, silage, and straw. The country has harvested 85.3% of its one-and-a-half-year plan for hay, 107.6% of its annual plan for haylage, 35.7% of its plan for concentrated feed, 64.2% of its plan for silage, and 52.6% of its plan for straw. The area under forage crops has grown, covering more than 3.2 million hectares, showing an increase of 83.5 thousand hectares from the previous year. This expansion and the efficient harvesting results are promising for maintaining a stable feed supply within the country.
