This is the fourth batch of aid distributed, with each farmer receiving varying amounts based on the number of affected hogs. The province has also allocated PHP5.3 million for recovery assistance and is currently under 'yellow zone' status, pending confirmation from the Department of Agriculture that the area is ASF-free. The government has also implemented stricter regulations on the transport of live hogs and pork products to prevent the spread of ASF.
