Asia Seed, files for variety protection for two new cabbage varieties

Asia Seed Co., Ltd. recently applied for the variety protection of two cabbage varieties: 'CT2422', a small cabbage variety that improves the advantages of 'Kkokkoma Cabbage', which the company is developing and distributing for overseas export, and 'CT2418', which complements the existing Asia Seed variety 'Asia Ball'. 'CT2422' weighs approximately 900 to 1000 grams, about one-third the weight of a regular cabbage. It has soft leaves and a sweet taste, making it suitable for salads, and it is an ultra-early maturing variety that can be grown in smart farms and double-cropped.
