Astarta has started the 26th sugar production season.

On September 10, the 26th sugar production season began at the processing enterprises of Astarta. The first to start operations are the plants in Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions: the Narkevychi Sugar Plant, for which this is already the 72nd season, Zhdanivka with a record 173rd season of processing, and also the Hlobynske Plant in Poltava region for which this is the 114th season, the company's press service reported, writes APK-Inform. As noted, by the beginning of October, all five sugar enterprises of the agro-industrial holding will be operational. In parallel, Astarta's agricultural enterprises, which provide the main volumes of raw materials for the holding's plants, continue to harvest sugar beets on an area of about 34 thousand hectares.
