The Greek livestock industry has experienced significant losses over the past fourteen months, with estimates suggesting that around 158,000 sheep and goats have passed away. This includes projections of approximately 90,000 losses for September 2023, of which around 38,056 were due to an epidemic and over 30,000 were from goat and sheep pox.
