According to Gyeongbuk Province, at around 6 PM on the previous day, an AI antigen was discovered during a pre-shipment inspection at an ostrich farm in Seonnam-myeon, Seongju County. The farm was scheduled to ship out 15,000 ostriches. Gyeongbuk Province has deployed an initial quarantine team to control access to the farm, including vehicle entry, and is collecting samples for a detailed AI inspection. The results of the inspection are expected to be released by the morning of this day. A provincial official stated, "If the detailed inspection confirms it as highly pathogenic, measures such as culling and a temporary suspension of movement of livestock facilities will be planned."
