The Gyeongbuk Goryeong Agricultural Technology Center (Director Kwon Mun-jeong) recently won the Excellence Award in the Daeseo variety segment at the "2025 1st Korea Garlic Industry Expo" held at the Yeongcheon Gymnasium in Yeongcheon, Gyeongbuk. This event provided a venue for producers and consumers to directly interact, featuring a variety comparison and evaluation, an exhibition, and participatory programs. In the garlic variety quality evaluation, the quality superiority of major domestic garlic varieties was comprehensively compared and evaluated through expert evaluation and public voting in three segments: Hanji, Namdo variety, and Daeseo variety.
